The Landscape Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the resort's golf course and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain pristine and visually appealing. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences through beautiful landscapes. Compensation Information: $23.25 per hour

Physical Requirement: Heavy, Work activities involve handling loads of more than 20 kg, predominately outside

Skills you bring with you:

• Must have, at minimum, a Horticulture Certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Previous supervisory experience working in landscaping (minimum 2 years).
• Must possess and submit valid Driver’s License.
• Must possess a valid Pesticide Applicators Certificate.
• Must be in good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects, do manual and all types of labor, etc.
• Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing and able to work very early shifts.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and WHMIS regulations.
• Good working knowledge of current WCB regulations.
• Must be familiar with current BC IPM Regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recognize that your safety, the safety of your fellow workers and the safety of the general public is your number one job responsibility.
• Operation of light duty golf course and landscaping maintenance equipment.
• General landscaping duties including, but not limited to: pruning, watering, planting and pest control.
• Ensure all equipment checks are complete and report any damage and/or mechanical failures.
• Landscape irrigation.
• Document and monitor all chemical applications.
