Are you an avid mountain biker who likes to spend their whole day on the trails? We are looking to recruit mountain bike patrollers for the upcoming summer season. Members of the Bike Patrol are responsible for keeping our guests safe on the mountain by completing setup in the morning before guests are on the hill, performing daily trail checks and other guest service functions such as accident handling, administering first aid, promoting, and creating a safe environment for guests and employees, mountain sweeps and other rescue services. Compensation Information: Starting at $21.45 per hour

Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 25kg; predominantly in an outdoor setting. Ability to Mountain Bike required.

Skills you bring with you:

Minimum Requirements:

• 80-hour first Aid certificate or greater (OFA-A, NUEC-A, EMR etc.)
• Previous Mountain Biking Experience
• Physically fit and able to work in adverse weather conditions in a winter mountain environment.
• Basic understanding of Mountain Resort Risk Management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be available to start three weeks of full-time training on May 19^th, 2026

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous patrol experience.
• PEAK advanced protocols.
• Knowledge of the Sun Peaks bike park and area.
• Bike Instructing certifications
• Background in technical rope rescue

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervising and promoting guest safety on the hill.
• Assisting guests on the mountain and administering first aid.
• Transporting injured guests off the mountain using vehicles and wheeled litters.
• Performing sweeps at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountain.
• Trail maintenance, such as removing fallen trees or rocks.
• Transporting and setting up mountain safety equipment.
• Driving trucks and Side by Side UTV’s to various areas of the mountain, as needed.
• Completing all other duties determined by operational needs
