Masa's Bar and Grill Manager

Sun Peaks Food and Beverage seeks a dedicated restaurant manager to join our team. As Masa’s Bar + Grill Manager, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience by utilizing your leadership skills and dedication to outstanding service. This dynamic role provides the opportunity to oversee the daily operations of a thriving food and beverage establishment while nurturing a motivated, high-performing team. Your responsibilities will include menu planning, staff development, and ensuring the smooth delivery of service, all while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees. Compensation Information:

$65,000 per year

Physical Requirement:

Light, work activities involve handling loads of between 5 kg and 10 kg. Predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned SPR Food & Beverage Outlet
  • Responsible for requisitions, inventory counting and purchase orders
  • Works with the culinary team, Food and Beverage Management and other personnel, to plan the menus relating to the dining room and bar operations
  • Responsible for training, scheduling, safety, motivating and discipline of staff
  • Managing time well while multi-tasking under pressure
  • Must be prepared to serve guests, bus tables, and run cash
  • Resolve customer complaints with prompt follow-up
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is kept in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Responsible for maintenance and control of the bar and house floats
  • Under the assistance of the Food and Beverage staff and keyholders, assist in monthly inventory
  • Demonstrate strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Duties as required to ensure the successful operation of the outlet and support of other departments and special promotions
  • Attend all required SPRC orientation and training sessions
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Duty Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Managing stock levels and creating weekly/daily inventories

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum five years experience in a Food and Beverage operation
  • Knowledge of point of sales system/Food and Beverage systems
  • Current Food Safe Certificate
  • Serving it Right
  • Excellent knowledge of Food, Wine & Service
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
