Sun Peaks Resort seeks enthusiastic F&B Front of House team members to join our vibrant Food & Beverage department. This role offers a dynamic and varied experience, ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple outlets and roles, from Cashier and Barista to Server and Bartender, contributing to both our day-to-day operations and special events such as weekly Fondues. With options for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions, you’ll be part of a fun and energetic team in one of the resort's primary après-ski locations. Compensation Information:

$17.40 - $18.75 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Light, work activities involve handling loads between 5kg and 10 kg – Predominately in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Accountabilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and present them with a menu
• Check patron’s identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Inform guests about the daily specials and any changes in the menu
• Be knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients of the food items, and how they are prepared
• Take and relay orders to the POS in an efficient manner
• Serve food and beverages to guests as per the course of an order
• Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guests’ needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water bottles
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Accurately and reliably perform closing duties and reconcile cash with total sales
• Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the winter season

• Neat, tidy, and well-organized, with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations
• Experience and a good understanding of a POS system
• Capability to multitask and prioritize jobs
• Well-presented and a team player
