Food & Beverage Coordinator

Department: SPR - FOH
Location: Sun Peaks, BC

Compensation Information:

$27.16 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Light, work activities involve handling loads between 5kg and 10 kg – Predominately in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain organizational systems and structure for the Food & Beverage Administrative office
  • Assist with Food & Beverage administration for both SPR and SPG
  • Create and maintain chattels and equipment lists for all F/B outlets in SPR and SPG
  • Assist in maintaining all F/B job description updates yearly
  • Assist Managers in maintaining appointments and records on team member reviews
  • Maintain onboarding and training is properly completed for both SPR and SPG
  • Liaison between Food & Beverage operations and PR/Marketing, Sales and other divisions as required
  • Be a first contact for all event and buy-out inquiries, including the internal functions for both SPR and SPG F&B
  • Maintain POS current operational systems; online training to be available
  • Make sure the customer's feedback is promptly followed up with and reported to the outlet manager and Director
  • Main point of contact with regard to shipper/receivers with SPR and SPG
  • Assist and organize team member comradery exercises
  • F/B outlet menu pre-screen and schedule of launch with Direction from F/B Director
  • Weekly budget communication notes to outlet managers

Ideal Candidate:

  • Administrative/Coordinator experience is preferred
  • Minimum two years of Food and Beverage operational experience (in any capacity)
  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management is an asset
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Property Management System knowledge is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Understanding of the hotel's financial reporting structure
  • Versatility/flexibility/stress management skills
  • High levels of trust and confidentiality
