WE ARE: Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre are where mountain adventure, hospitality, and community come together. Across every season, we welcome guests, support a busy resort operation, and share the stories, updates, and moments that help people feel informed, prepared, and connected. The Marketing and Communications (MarComms) team helps bring that story to life. From employee updates and operational notices to guest newsletters, community messages, blogs, and social content, we keep information moving with clarity, consistency, and a little mountain personality.
YOU ARE: You are a natural communicator who knows that the right words can make a big difference. You can turn operational details into clear updates, shape a draft into something engaging and on brand, and keep multiple moving pieces on track without losing sight of the audience. You are organized, curious, collaborative, and comfortable jumping between internal communications, guest-facing updates, employee storytelling, and day-to-day coordination. You like a clean sentence, a useful plan, and a fast-moving day. You also understand that in a resort environment, timing matters, details matter, and teamwork is everything.
THE POSITION: As Communications Coordinator, you will work in a team of 13 marketing and communications professionals, supporting internal and external communications for Sun Peaks Resort (SPR) and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel (SPG). Working closely with the Employee Experience (EEX) and the MarComms teams, you will help create and deliver timely, brand-aligned messaging that supports employees, informs guests, and strengthens community connections. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creativity and coordination: writing a strong employee update, helping shape guest messaging, gathering content, supporting campaigns, and making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
