Compensation Information:
$50,000.00 per annum
Physical Requirement:
Medium, work activities involve handling loads between 10 and 20 kg; Predominately in an indoor setting.
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.
Accountabilities:
Service/Operations:
- Oversees the food & beverage operations and ensures established Sun Peaks Resort Standards of Service are executed professionally and consistently.
- Supervises food orders and ensures delivery of food & drinks and guest bills promptly
- Ensures all checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing duties are completed
- Ensures Health & Safety Regulations are permanently adhered to
- Assists in any F&B Department Outlet as business volumes dictate
- Takes note of opportunities to improve processes and remove barriers that weaken the guest experience
Guest Experience:
- Champions guest resolution using established Sun Peaks Resort Standards of Service
- Interacts with guests throughout their food and beverage experience with a focus on delivering a quality experience
- Drives customer loyalty by building individual connections with guests
- Acts as an ambassador of Sun Peaks
- Solicits feedback from guests and provides ongoing suggested improvements to the Food and Beverage Leadership
- Resolves guest complaints
- Ensures the ongoing health and safety of the team through the application of guidelines and regulations
Team Commitment & Collaboration:
- Actively participates as part of the food & beverage hiring team while following SPR hiring processes, including screening, interviewing and reference checks
- Assists the F&B Managers in training Bartenders, Servers, and Support Staff
- Supervises the F&B team, finding coaching opportunities throughout each day, ensuring continued growth and development for all team members, documenting appropriately
- Provides the F&B Managers timely feedback regarding Bartenders, Servers, and Support Staff and opportunities for growth or performance management needs
- Advises the F&B Managers of team member advancement readiness when aptitude & engagement presents in entry level positions
- Ensures team members have current knowledge of menu offerings and pricing
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among Front of House and Back of House team members, ensuring team members are treated fairly and equitably
- Assists in emergencies, making prompt decisions in the best interest of the guest and the staff
Ideal Candidate:
- 2-3 Years of supervisory experience
- 1-2 Years of managerial experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Serving it Right Certification
- Point of sale system experience
- Excellent food and drink knowledge
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Unparalleled attention to detail
- Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment, creating an innovative culture
- Passion for guest service and the proven ability to consistently anticipate guest needs
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Basic understanding of business acumen
- Strong communication skills and ability to bring a team together to work towards a common goal
